Jenna Wilson's and Jacques Marcoux's results at the 2003 ITU Duathlon World Championships (posted on August 30, 2003)
Jenna
Wilson and Jacques
Marcoux competed at the
2003 ITU Duathlon World Championships in Affoltern Switzerland on August
30th. As
UofManitoba professor/observer Colleen Metge writes:
"The course was very difficult, as it was raining very hard on the bike course. Also, there was an
immediate uphill run to the course (after surviving some very wet and slippery wood chips!?!), and a bike
uphill that was as steep as I've seen. Also, for
flat-lander Manitobans, the down-hills were a different experience."

Jenna Wilson places 7th in the Female Junior Sprint event at Duathlon Worlds (posted on October 20, 2002)
The 2002 ITU Duathlon World Championships were held in Alpharetta Georgia today. Jenna Wilson was one of three Canadians in the Female Junior Sprint event.
Jenna finished 7th of 15 competitors, and was the top Canadian. What is even more impressive is that this is Jenna's first year in the sport, and she was the youngest racer in the Female Junior Sprint event. Her coach Gary Pallett, the Manitoba National Triathlon Centre, and Triathlon Manitoba are very proud of Jenna.
