For categorization at all events, an athlete's triathlon age is their age on December 31st of the current year. Age minimums:

• For a race length longer than a Sprint (longer than 750m+20K+5K triathlon or 2.5K+20K+5K duathlon), an athlete must be aged 18 or older.
• For Sprint distance (750m+20K+5K triathlon or 2.5K+20K+5K duathlon), an athlete must be aged 16 or older.

In order to participate in a Triathlon Manitoba sanctioned event, an athlete must either have a Full Membership, or must purchase a One-Day Membership when registering for the event.

Recent Calendar Updates:

• Change Kids of Steel Windup Race & Birds Hill Park Try-a-Tri / Try-a-Du from September 6th to September 13th.
• Change Triple Threat Triathlon Weekend from June 13/14th to June 6/7th. 
• Add National Junior Triathlon #1 to Triple Threat Triathlon on June 7th.
• Change Thompson Triathlon from August 23rd to August 30th.
• Change the Triathlon Manitoba Annual General Meeting and Awards Evening date to October 3rd.
• Add a Try-a-Du to the 3rd Wave Try-a-Tri in Morden on July 12th.
