Edie was the 15th woman overall; 8 of the top 10 are listed as professional triathletes. Gary Pallett adds:
Her time was 24 minutes off her best time set at Ironman Canada. This course is quite a bit more difficult than Ironman Canada, especially with a hilly run. Edie broke the course record in her age category that previously stood at 11:31:37, but she placed 2nd in her age category because of an amazing strong field in the W45-49 category.

The female Half Ironman course record at Morden that Edie Fisher set in 1999 (4:58:43) was surpassed yesterday --- by Edie (4:57:03).

At 43 years old, and in her 7th year of triathlon, Edie's high performance level still speaks for itself.   Her Olympic Distance time of 2:13:53 at the Raivo Tamm Triathlon last weekend was over 21 minutes below the "A" time for a 40 to 44 year old woman.
