August 10, 2000 --- Riding Mountain Triathlon

Triathlon Manitoba is pleased to announce that the 15^th annual Riding Mountain Triathlon will take place on Saturday August 19, 2000 at the main beach at Clear Lake in Wasagaming, Manitoba at 9:00 AM. 

This event has participants racing in two different event distances.  The Standard Olympic Distance (1.5K Swim, 40K Cycle, 10KRun), and the Sprint Distance (750m Swim, 20K Cycle, 5K Run).  The Riding Mountain Sprint Distance Triathlon is the 2000 Saskatchewan/Manitoba/NW Ontario Junior/Youth Regional Championship.  All athletes are required to attend a pre-race meeting on Friday August 18^th at 9:00 PM at the Mooswa Resort in Wasagaming. 

A Kids of Steel (ages 8 to 16) race will complete the weekend on Sunday August 20^th at 9:00 AM.
