August 23, 2000 --- 2000 Subaru Ironman Canada Triathlon  participants &
2000 Canadian Duathlon Championships participants

Triathlon Manitoba is pleased to announce that a number of our members will be racing for Manitoba this weekend at either the 2000 Canadian Duathlon Championships or the 2000 Subaru Ironman Canada Triathlon. 

The 2000 Subaru Ironman Canada Triathlon will take place in Penticton, BC on August 27^th.   There will be 15 Manitobans who will be competing in the 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run.

The 2000 Canadian Duathlon Championships will be held on August 26^th in Kananaskis Village, Alberta.  This race features a 10km run, 40km bike, and 5km run.  Participants will be trying to earn spots on the 2000 Canadian National Duathlon Team that will be travelling to Calais, France on October 8, 2000 for the ITU World Duathlon Championships.  The following Manitobans will be racing:
