July 11, 2000 --- 2000 Provincial Team

Triathlon Manitoba is pleased to announce the 2000 Provincial Team.   These team members are athletes who met the time standards at one of the qualifying races (Triathlon de St Malo and Raivo Tamm).   They will represent Manitoba at either the 2000 Can/Am/Mex Age Group Challenge in Edmonton on July 16^th or at the 2000 Canadian Triathlon Championships in Cornerbrook on July 23^rd. 

Kevin Breiter  --  Male 19 & under  --  Edmonton & Cornerbrook

Allan Scott  --  Male 19 & under  --  Edmonton

Jenny Ayers  --  Female 35 - 39  --  Cornerbrook

Edie Fisher  --  Female 40 - 44  --   Cornerbrook

Rob Vallis  --  Male 20 -24  --  Cornerbrook

Patrick Peacock  --  Male 25 - 29  --  Cornerbrook

Jeff Morier  --  Male 25 - 29  --  Cornerbrook

Philippe Chabot  --  Male 30- 34  --  Cornerbrook

Brian Schroeder  --  Male 45 - 49  --  Cornerbrook

Jim Munro  --  Male 55 - 59  --  Cornerbrook

Lyle Redman  --  Male 60 +  --  Edmonton 

Also competing in Edmonton is Allan Redman a Junior Development Team Member. 

Good luck to all athletes as they try to capture a spot on the 2001 Canadian Team that will compete at the 2001 World Triathlon Championships in Edmonton.
