July 24, 2000 --- Sandman Triathlon

Triathlon Manitoba would like to announce the upcoming Sandman Triathlon at Lac du Bonnet coming up on Sunday July 30, 2000.  This race is being jointly hosted by the HammerHeads Triathlon Team and the Sub 2 Triathlon Club. 

This event features three different distances:

·        Standard Distance   1500 m swim / 40 km bike / 10 km run        Race start: 8:45 a.m. 

·        Sprint Distance      750 m swim / 20 km bike / 5km run            Race start: 9:45 a.m. 

·        Tri - a -Tri        300 m swim / 10 km bike / 2.5 km run      Race start: 10:15 a.m. 

The Tri - a - Tri distance is attracting many new participants to the sport this year and we encourage anyone who might be interested ( maybe has a background in one of the three sports) to come out and try the event.
