February 5, 2001 --- Snowman Triathlon
Come out
and "TRI" three exciting winter sports in one fun event,
Triathlon
Manitoba is pleased to announce that the 18th annual Olympia
"Snowman" Triathlon will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2001 at the
Harbour View Golf and Recreation Complex.
The race,
which is staged by the Triple Threat Triathlon Club, features 2 race distances:
v The Kids of Steel / Little Snowman
Triathlon (2km run / 2km ski / 2km skate) Race start at 9:30 am
v The Snowman Triathlon (5km run / 5km
ski / 5 km skate)
Relay teams are welcome in either distance.
A special
Manitoba Snowman School Championship Banner will be awarded to the school earning the most
points in the Little Snowman and Kids of Steel Race.
Get your school team together and come challenge Joseph Teres School who won
the Banner at the 2000 Olympia Snowman Event.
