June 28, 2001 --- Triathlon Provincial Team at Nationals

Triathlon Manitoba is pleased to announce the 2001 Provincial Team. These team members are athletes who met the time standards and criteria at one of the qualifying races (Triple Threat Triathlon or the Triathlon de St Malo held in June). They will represent Manitoba at the 2001 Canadian Triathlon Championships in Drummondville, Quebec on June 30/July 1st.

Allan Scott Male 20-24
Edie Fisher Female 40 - 44
Patrick Peacock Male 25 - 29
Jeff Morier Male 30 - 34
Philippe Chabot Male 35-39
Jim Munro Male 55 - 59

Also competing are High Performance athletes Dave Lipchen (Male 20 -24) and James Clements (Male 30-34).

Good luck to all athletes as they try to capture a spot on the 2001 Canadian Team that will compete at the 2001 World Triathlon Championships in Edmonton on July 21/22.
