August 27, 2002 --- Manitoba Results at Ironman Canada

Triathlon Manitoba is pleased to announce the outstanding performances of our members at the 2002 Subaru Ironman Canada Triathlon on Sunday August 25, in Penticton, BC. Congratulations to all twenty members who went out west to test their endurance and completed the event, which consisted of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run.

Congratulations to Edie Fisher and Janet Findlay, from the Kenora Borealis Club, who both earned medals in their respective age groups. Edie's time is a new Ironman Canada record for the Womens 45 to 49 age group.
