November 4, 2002 --- Seven members off to Triathlon World Championships

The 2002 ITU Triathlon World Championships take place this coming weekend in Cancun, Mexico on November 9th/10th. Seven Triathlon Manitoba members have earned berths on the Canadian Team by virtue of their performances at selection races this past year. The athletes will be completing an Olympic distance triathlon which consists of a 1.5 km swim, 40km cycle and 10km run.
