November 25, 2003 --- ITU Triathlon World Championships

The 2003 ITU Triathlon World Championships take place on December 5^th, in Queenstown, New Zealand. Six Triathlon Manitoba members have earned berths on the Canadian Team by virtue of their performances at selection races this past year.  The age group athletes will be completing an Olympic distance triathlon which consists of a 1.5 km swim, 40km cycle and 10km run.  The junior distance event is a draft legal sprint race with a 750m swim, 20km cycle and 5km run.
