May 25, 2004 --- Prestige Duathlon #3 Results


Spier and Dobrinsky win Prestige Duathlon #3 

Congratulations goes out to long distance athletes, Jared Spier, who was the top long distance male finisher in both Duathlon #1 and #3, with a time of 1:08:46 in yesterday's race; and Jill Dobrinsky, who was the top female finisher, in a time of 1:24:10. Spier and Dobrinsky won the Prestige Duathlon #3 event, which was a 4 km run followed by a 24.4 km bike and a 4 km run; at Birds Hill Park on May 25th, 2004.   

Once again, Chris Graham, the 2003 Rookie of the Year, won the short distance category in a time of 39:44. Kimberly Macdonald placed first in the female category in a time of 42:41. The short distance course is a 2 km run followed by a 13.3 km bike and a 2 km run to finish the race.

It was the final Duathlon in a three race series. A Run/Bike/Skate Triathlon (with run/bike/run and run-only options) will be held on Tuesday, June 1st, 6:30 PM at Birds Hill Park, in the East Beach area.  Also coming up is the PanAmania Swim/Run on Sunday May 30th, 2004 at the Pan Am Pool.
