July 27, 2005 --- Lac du Bonnet Triathlon 

The Lac du Bonnet Knights of Columbus are pleased to present the annual Lac du Bonnet Triathlon on July 31, 2005. 

The day of races features five events, which start and finish at Laker’s Water Ski Club in Lac du Bonnet:  

• Olympic (1500m swim, 40k bike, 10k run)

• Sprint distance (750m swim, 20k bike, 5k run)

• Try-A-Tri (300m swim, 10k bike, 2.5k run)

• Duathlon (5k run, 40k bike, 10k run)

• Sprint Duathlon (2.5k run, 20k run, 5k run)

• Try-a-Du (1k run, 10k bike, 2.5k run)

• Corporate Challenge Duathlon (2.5k run, 20k bike, 5k run)

Registration and transition zone opens at 6:00 am. The Olympic triathlon and Duathlon will start at 8:30 am, followed by the Sprint triathlon and duathlon starting at 9:30 am. The Try-a-tri and try-a-du will start at 10:00 am, followed by a lunch and draw prizes at 1:00 pm. 

Proceeds from the race support the Lac Du Bonnet Youth Centre.
