August 17, 2006 --- Riding Mountain Triathlon weekend!

The 21^st Annual Riding Mountain Triathlon happens this weekend on Saturday, August 19th, in Wasagaming, at Clear Lake Beach.  Saturday’s race starts at 9:00 am and features both the Sprint and Olympic race distances.  Race Organizers are anticipating 200+ participants.

The Riding Mountain Triathlon is the last major race weekend of the 2006 Triathlon Manitoba race season.  The final events and eventual series winners, in the four Provincial race series will be determined during this weekend.

On Sunday, August 20th a Kids of Steel event will take place featuring four categories that children can race in.  Race day registration and check-in is from 8:00 to 8:45 am.  Anticipated race start time is at 9:30 am.
