July 4, 2007 --- Free Spirit Triathlon-Duathlon in Pinawa this Weekend

Come and join us in Pinawa for the Free Spirit Triathlon-Duathlon on July 8^th, 2007 at the Pinawa Marina.  The Triathlon and Duathlon will include Olympic, Sprint, and Relay categories.  This race features an extremely flat and fast cycle course where any wind can cause a major obstacle.  Check in and body marking will take place between 6:15-7:30 am.  There will be a pre-race meeting at 7:45 am with the race beginning at 8:30 am.

The weekend will also feature a Kids of Steel event at the Pinawa Pool on July 7^th, 2007.  The event has distances for youth ages 6 through 15 years, plus a fun tykes and trikes event for 5 and under.  Race day registration, body marking and check-in for this Kids of Steel event is from 7:30-8:15 am, with races starting at 9:00 am so come early and cheer on some of our future champions!
