June 19, 2007 --- St Malo Multisport Weekend

The Tribalistic Triathlon team is pleased to present the Kids of Steel® triathlon and Multisport Weekend on June 23^rd and 24^th, at St. Malo Provincial Recreation Park. 

The weekend of races features 12 events.  Six distances in the Kid of Steel® (ages 6-15) along with the Try-A-Tri and Try-a-Du on June 23rd and the following distances in the Triathlon & Duathlon on June 24th:  

Olympic (1500m swim, 40k bike, 10k run) *second of 4 qualifying events for the age group team that will represent Manitoba at nationals
Sprint distance (750m swim, 21.2k bike, 5k run)
Long Duathlon (5k run, 40k bike, 10k run)
Sprint Duathlon (2.5k run, 21.2k bike, 5k run) 

Registration for the Kids of Steel Triathlon begins at 8:30 AM, Saturday June 23^rd. The pre-race meeting will be held for all distances at 9:45 am. Races will begin at 10:00 AM. 

Race day registration and check-in closes at 8:15 AM for the Triathlon and Duathlon on Sunday June 24^th.  Pre-race meeting is scheduled to begin at 8:25 AM with races starting at 8:45 AM.
